Women executives are facing tremendous challenges in today’s world. And when we face this adversity, we may find ourselves succumbing to “strategic paralysis” instead of making bold and effective decisions.

Research shows that women approach decision-making more deeply, engaging in more detailed and thoughtful consideration of available data. Unlike men, who may prioritize short-term gains through riskier choices, women naturally favor longer-term, sustainable outcomes. This careful, future-focused approach may be misinterpreted as risk aversion.

Layer in economic instability or an unpredictable political landscape, and the decision-making process for women in leadership can slow down. But what drives this hesitation?

  • Gender bias and heightened market scrutiny:
Women leaders often face disproportionate pressure and adverse market reactions when ascending to CEO positions.
  • Higher expectations and greater scrutiny:
The bar is often set higher for women, requiring them to navigate leadership roles with more precision and caution.
  • Reluctance to seek support:
Women may hesitate to voice their need for resources or assistance, complicating decision-making during uncertain times.

In this workshop, learn what instinctively leads us to hesitate and how to be confident and make bold decisions in our leadership—even through adversity.
